| To the northwestern extremity of the African continent, Morocco presents itself as a harmonious rectangle, limited to the north by the « Mediterranean » and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean. The eastern border north south separates it zone on Algeria, while the border south neighbor it with Algeria and Mauritania. The name Morocco comes from the Spanish Marrueccos. In Arabic, the name is Maghreb Al aqsa: the extreme west. The hand made craft work (metals, pottery, carved and painted wood...) is one of the Moroccan smell of craft industry. It is also the effort fruit of several artisans generations that was improved with a lot of happiness and serenity, this experience is marked by many foreign influences that was obtained and adapted for a local request that becomes more and more demanded and that what gives the Moroccan craft the best reputation. |
